Saswad is the main town of Purandar taluka, about 30 km south-east of Pune over the Dive Ghat. It is known for Purandar Fort and the samadhi of Sant Sopandev, and it is growing fast.

Most Saswad moves are to Hadapsar, Fursungi, Katraj or Jejuri. A move like that is normally packed, moved and set up in one day. If you only have a fridge, a bed and a few cartons, ask for few item shifting. We send a smaller tempo and you pay for that, not for a whole truck.
What the day looks like
Say you are shifting a 2 BHK from near Saswad–Pune Road to Fursungi. Our team of four reaches around 9 in the morning with cartons, bubble wrap and tape. The kitchen and the fragile things are packed first, then the bedrooms, then the living room, and every box gets the room name written on it. Beds and wardrobes are taken apart and the screws go into small labelled bags. By early afternoon the truck is loaded, heavy things at the bottom and fragile boxes on top. At the new place the same people unload, carry each box to its room, fit the furniture back together and take the empty cartons away. Most days like this are over by evening, and you sleep in your own bed in the new home that night.

What it costs
Honestly, it depends on what you are moving. Taking one room from Saswad to Fursungi is a few hours of work. A fully furnished 3 BHK on a high floor going to another state is a different job altogether. What matters most is how much you have, which floor you are on and whether there is a lift, and how far it is going.
