Ambegaon, with its Budruk and Khurd parts, lies between Katraj and Narhe near the highway bypass. Large college campuses here bring in many students, and new societies bring in families.

Most homes here are new societies, student rooms and independent homes. We are often around Ambegaon Budruk, Ambegaon Khurd, Dattanagar, Katraj–Dehu Road bypass and college campus area, which helps a lot on moving day: we already know the roads, the parking and the usual society rules.
Ambegaon is close to the highway bypass, so trucks heading to Satara, Kolhapur and Bangalore can start right after loading.
Short moves go to Katraj, Narhe, Dhankawadi and Sinhagad Road. A move like that is normally packed, moved and set up in one day. If you only have a fridge, a bed and a few cartons, ask for few item shifting. We send a smaller tempo and you pay for that, not for a whole truck.
How a local move usually goes
Say you are shifting a 2 BHK from near Ambegaon Budruk to Dhankawadi. Our team of four reaches around 9 in the morning with cartons, bubble wrap and tape. The kitchen and the fragile things are packed first, then the bedrooms, then the living room, and every box gets the room name written on it. Beds and wardrobes are taken apart and the screws go into small labelled bags. By early afternoon the truck is loaded, heavy things at the bottom and fragile boxes on top. At the new place the same people unload, carry each box to its room, fit the furniture back together and take the empty cartons away. Most days like this are over by evening, and you sleep in your own bed in the new home that night.

At the end of every term we get calls from students in Ambegaon. Usually it is a few suitcases, two or three cartons of books, maybe a cycle or a small cooler. You do not need a truck for that. From Ambegaon to another city
When people from Ambegaon move out of Pune, the cities we hear most often are Bangalore, Goa, Mumbai and Hyderabad. What it costs
There is no single rate, because no two moves are the same. Taking one room from Ambegaon to Dhankawadi is a few hours of work. A fully furnished 3 BHK on a high floor going to another state is a different job altogether. What matters most is how much you have, which floor you are on and whether there is a lift, and how far it is going.
