Moving house in Narhe
Most homes here are new societies, student rooms and independent homes. Our team works around Navale Bridge, Narhe Gaon, Manaji Nagar, Mumbai–Bangalore Highway bypass and college campus area all the time, so we usually know before we arrive where the truck can stand and how the society likes moves to be done.
The highway near Navale Bridge is on a steep slope. We never park a loaded truck on the slope, and load from the service road or inside the society.
Short moves go to Ambegaon, Dhayari, Katraj and Warje. A move like that is normally packed, moved and set up in one day. If you only have a fridge, a bed and a few cartons, ask for few item shifting. We send a smaller tempo and you pay for that, not for a whole truck.
A typical moving day
Say you are shifting a 2 BHK from near Navale Bridge to Ambegaon. Our team of four reaches around 9 in the morning with cartons, bubble wrap and tape. The kitchen and the fragile things are packed first, then the bedrooms, then the living room, and every box gets the room name written on it. Beds and wardrobes are taken apart and the screws go into small labelled bags. By early afternoon the truck is loaded, heavy things at the bottom and fragile boxes on top. At the new place the same people unload, carry each box to its room, fit the furniture back together and take the empty cartons away. Most days like this are over by evening, and you sleep in your own bed in the new home that night.
Sending your things home from Narhe
At the end of every term we get calls from students in Narhe. Usually it is a few suitcases, two or three cartons of books, maybe a cycle or a small cooler. You do not need a truck for that. We pick it up from your PG or hostel, pack anything fragile, tag each piece with your name and number, and send it home through our luggage service. You pay by the number of items, and we count them with you at pickup so there is no confusion later.
From Narhe to another city
When people from Narhe move out of Pune, the cities we hear most often are Bangalore, Goa, Mumbai and Hyderabad. We pick up from your door here and deliver to your new home, with extra packing for the long road and a message on WhatsApp when the truck leaves and when it reaches. What it costs
There is no single rate, because no two moves are the same. Taking one room from Narhe to Ambegaon is a few hours of work. A fully furnished 3 BHK on a high floor going to another state is a different job altogether. What matters most is how much you have, which floor you are on and whether there is a lift, and how far it is going.
